EGPGC Central Texas provides a Weekly meal service every Sunday between 11am- 12 pm to the unhoused community of Austin. In addition to hot meals or sack lunches weekly, hygienic items are provided at least once a month.

Marvin Guy Trial

The EGPGC will be in attendance along with the Pure Justice organization, and many other supporters as we show support for Marvin Guy and his family during Marvin’s Trial- after almost 9 painful years to the day of the botched No Knock raid, Marvin will finally have his day in court. The first day of trial will take place at the Bell County Courthouse starting Monday May 8th 2023. Marvin Guy has been imprisoned at the Bell County Jail and stands accused of murder after a botched no-knock raid resulted in the death of a Killeen Police Officer- no drugs were found in the home. Rightful Reparation Rally

Join us for the Rightful Reparations Rally in Tulsa OK on Thursday April 6th at Oneok Field located at 201 N Elgin Ave from 3pm to 5:30pm. Hosted by Elmer Geronimo Pratt Gun Club Tulsa, and partnered with the Original Black Panther Party, this rally will highlight reparations efforts taking place in Oklahoma including the legal cases being made for the Greenwood Massacre Survivors in Tulsa, and the Creek Freedmen- descendants of black slaves once owned by the Muscogee (Creek) Indians. The rally will also bring together local community leaders, activists, and supporters to show solidarity with and learn lessons from those that have paved the way to California’s historic Plan for Reparations for Black Californians such as National Assembly of American Slave Descedants (NAASD) and award winning-organization (CJEC)- Californians for a Just and Equitable California. Learn how you can get educated, organize to get politically engaged and have your voice heard federally. The time is NOW for Reparations for Freedmen in Oklahoma and in America!

Mississippi Town Hall: The Fight for Justice and Operation: Hydrate Jackson

Families of victims of anti-black American violence will speak on their experiences navigating the path to justice and the impact these experiences have had on their lives. Expected speakers include family of Emmett Till, D’Monterrio Gibson and other victims of injustices. State Representative Robert Johnson III will be in attendance as well. There will also be an opportunity for Criminal Record Expungement assistance from on-sight legal resource experts.

Marvin Guy Canvassing Event in Killeen- Central Texas

The EGPGC will be working with Pure Justice to bring Marvins fight for Justice to light. We encourage the community to come out and support our efforts on Saturday July 23rd in Killeen Texas from 12pm-3pm as we bring awareness of Marvin Guy’s case to the citizens of Killeen, as Marvin was a resident of Killeen when KPD invaded his home in 2014. Marvin Guy is a survivor of a botched No-Knock Raid in Killeen Texas and has been imprisoned without trial for over 8 years as of May 9th. To learn more about Marvin Guy, please click here.

Devil's Punchbowl National Formation

Located in Natchez Mississippi, the “Devil’s Punchbowl” was the site of one of the most infamous concentration camps that newly freed Black slaves were forced into by government authorities during and after the Civil War. Abuse and neglect led to the deaths of an estimated 20,000 souls, primarily from disease and starvation. The Elmer Geronimo Pratt Gun Club will be joining Black Gun Groups from across the country for this formation during Juneteenth weekend in honor of our ancestors whose lives who were lost there.
